About The Role

Team – Facilities

Working Pattern - Office based - 5 days per week in the Vitality London Office. Full time, 37.5 hours per week.

What this role is all about:

As a receptionist here at Vitality, you will provide a world class front of house service when dealing with visitors and key stakeholders.

Key Actions

  • Present a professional and courteous welcome to all external visitors and creates a positive image of the company.
  • Have a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Uphold company security procedures by utilising security card entry systems.
  • Work closely with landlord’s building management team when dealing with visitors.
  • Assist with Evacuation Procedures to ensure safety of staff.
  • Communicate emergency procedures to all visitors on arrival to the building.
  • Provide cover and assisting as required in other areas of the Facilities Team.
  • You will be required to communicate with colleagues at all levels, up to and including Board members.
  • Ad hoc Facilities tasks as required by the manager to support other areas of the department.
  • To ensure that local and role specific Treating Customers Fairly requirements are met in line with key outputs.
  • Administer the eye care voucher scheme for staff.
  • Process post and courier requests.
  • Manage meeting room bookings and setting up rooms with required configuration.

What do you need to thrive?

  • Flexible in approach and ability to prioritise and manage tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • 12 months experience of reception environment.
  • Ability to learn new software – access card system, room bookings etc.
  • Works cooperatively with others to complete tasks.
  • Calm and assured in routine situations.
  • Polite, courteous and patient with visitors and colleagues.
