About The Role

Team – Technology Enablement 

Working Pattern - Hybrid – 2 days per week in any of our Vitality Offices - Bournemouth, London & Stockport. Full time, 35 hours per week. 

What this role is all about:

The Salesforce Enablement Consultant is a key member of Vitality’s Salesforce Enablement Team (SET), which supports the entire Salesforce ecosystem at Vitality. The role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation and sustained success of Vitality’s Salesforce platform, which handles millions of transactions per month.

Key Actions

  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Salesforce Enablement to identify, map out and action process/standards enhancements.
  • Manage and oversee Salesforce IT Operations, including monthly reporting, supporting day-to-day processes (e.g. release train, etc).
  • Manage the fulfilment of Group Services reporting (OKRs) on behalf of the Salesforce Enablement Team.
  • Support and, where appropriate, lead the fulfilment of compliance items (e.g. biannual recertification, audit deliverables, etc).

Work within the wider Salesforce Community of Practice:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in the Salesforce platform, particularly in new and upcoming features (e.g. AI offerings). Co-ordinate the preparation of upcoming Salesforce releases.
  • Actively participate in the wider Salesforce Community of Practice to encourage engagement, ensure alignment to standards and processes, and identify opportunities for innovation. Promote collaboration.
  • Deep understanding of key business processes at Vitality and highlight how Salesforce’s platform capabilities can improve these.
  • Attend, facilitate and where appropriate, run Community of Practice events and forums.
  • Provide guidance and expertise to Journeys for key and innovative initiatives, with support from the Salesforce Data Consultant and Head of Salesforce Enablement as required.

What do you need to thrive?

  • Educated to degree level in a technology related subject, or evidence equivalent experience.
  • Attained core Salesforce certifications (e.g. Administrator, Platform App Builder, etc) or evidence experience with the Salesforce platform. Attainment of, or actively working towards Salesforce consultant or architecture certifications is preferred.
  • Experience working on Salesforce products, implementing solutions using a variety of functionality options. This may include integration with other systems.
  • Demonstratable experience managing stakeholders.
