What this role is all about:
The AI Enablement Consultant sits within the AI Enablement function and plays a key role in accelerating the adoption of AI technologies across the organisation. Working closely with business areas, the role identifies opportunities to improve performance through AI, shapes solutions that deliver measurable value, and supports teams from concept through to implementation. Through collaboration, enablement and best practice guidance, the role helps embed AI into everyday operations, driving efficiency, innovation and better business outcomes.
Key Actions
- Partner with business teams to identify and shape AI use cases that align with strategic objectives and deliver measurable value
- Support the delivery of AI solutions from concept through to production-ready implementation, ensuring operational and user readiness
- Lead AI adoption initiatives and projects, managing priorities, timelines and stakeholder expectations to achieve successful outcomes
- Design and deliver engaging training sessions, workshops and enablement materials that increase confidence in AI tools and platforms
- Promote best practice in AI usage, prompt design, governance and risk management to drive consistent and effective adoption
- Work collaboratively with technology, operations, customer service and wider business teams to ensure scalable and aligned solutions
- Monitor adoption metrics, utilisation, costs and realised benefits, using insights to drive continuous improvement and optimisation
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels and support change management activities throughout AI implementations
- Provide guidance on AI capabilities, platform functionality, licensing considerations and technology-related decision making
- Share knowledge across the wider technology community and contribute to the ongoing development of AI enablement strategy and innovation initiatives
What do you need to thrive?

Degree-level qualification in a technology-related discipline or equivalent relevant experience

Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Copilot, Agile delivery approaches or the insurance sector

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to investigate issues and recommend effective solutions

Excellent communication skills with confidence engaging audiences at all levels across the business

Experience managing multiple projects, initiatives and competing priorities simultaneously

Proven stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build strong working relationships

Adaptable approach with the ability to respond positively to changing priorities and business needs

Experience supporting training, learning or enablement activities to drive technology adoption

Self-motivated mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development

Understanding of AI technologies and their application to improve business performance
