Helping people live longer, healthier, happier lives
We use the power of AI to help create a brighter future for everyone - our employees, our members, our business and society.
Our use of AI is always based on the idea of using technology with a purpose, never forgetting to put people and human judgement first.
The way we do this is through our AI Office. Made up of experts from across the business, it's their job to come up with ideas, share successes and apply what we learn from every AI project.
Everything they do is rooted in responsibility and trust, with strong safeguards, clear governance and a real understanding of where AI can help us create better products and services for our members.
For example, each AI project starts as a pilot scheme. It has clear goals, outcomes we can measure and a framework prioritising security and fraud prevention. By working to this structure, the AI Office helps build trust in the use of AI.
At Vitality, we are committed to using AI safely and effectively, based on best practice, and what works.
Example: Microsoft Copilot - helping you work smarter and faster
One example is the roll-out of Microsoft Copilot to all our employees. By making it quicker and easier to draft documents, analyse data, summarise meetings or streamline everyday tasks, it's freed up time for all our teams to focus more on improving the service they offer our members.
A note on using AI tools in your job application
As you can see, we believe in the power of AI to help bring out the best in you. But we also want to see the person behind the application.
So feel free to use AI tools to structure your CV and polish your writing. But please, make sure your application still sounds like you. AI-generated text can often feel generic. We want to know about the real you and what makes you unique. And just so you know, we don't use AI to make decisions on you.
A couple of interview tips:
1. Keep it real Please don't use AI tools during the interview. Focus on being authentic, so be ready to share your own thoughts and experiences.
2. Don't wear smart glasses Please do NOT wear glasses with video recording capabilities to your interview. This is to help protect our data, our business and our people's privacy.
