What this role is all about:
We're looking for a Senior Business Analyst to play a key role in shaping and delivering strategic business and technology initiatives across the Vitality ecosystem. This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of business, data, operations and technology, translating complex requirements into scalable solutions that drive measurable value. Acting as a trusted partner to stakeholders across multiple teams and markets, the successful candidate will lead requirements discovery, process analysis, solution design and delivery activities, while helping to solve complex business challenges and support the continued evolution of Vitality's innovative Shared Value Insurance model.
Key Actions
- Lead discovery workshops and requirements elicitation activities with business, operational, market and technology stakeholders
- Analyse, document and validate business, functional, non-functional, data and integration requirements
- Translate complex business needs into high-quality user stories, process models, acceptance criteria and functional specifications
- Facilitate stakeholder alignment, challenge assumptions and identify the most effective solution approaches
- Drive end-to-end requirements traceability across the delivery lifecycle, from discovery through to implementation
- Analyse business processes, systems, data flows and integrations to support solution design and delivery
- Act as a key liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring solutions remain aligned to business objectives and customer outcomes
- Support Agile delivery by refining epics and features, participating in planning activities and contributing to backlog prioritisation
- Define and review test scenarios, acceptance criteria and validation requirements, supporting SIT, UAT and production readiness activities
- Facilitate estimation workshops and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to support delivery planning and informed decision-making
- Build strong relationships across business, market and technology teams, providing leadership, guidance and constructive challenge where require
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to continuous improvement, delivery excellence and best practice within the Business Analysis community
What do you need to thrive?
- 5+ years' experience in Business Analysis or Systems Analysis
- Strong requirements gathering, process mapping and solution design skills
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Experience with integrations, data flows and testing activities
- Ability to navigate complexity, influence decisions and drive outcomes
- A collaborative, proactive and continuous improvement mindset
