About The Role

Team – Learning & Performance

Working Pattern - Hybrid – 2 days per week in the Vitality Bournemouth Office. Full time, 35 hours per week.

What this role is all about:

Vitality are looking for an engaging, passionate and creative person to join our Learning & Performance team.

The role is fast paced, varied and would include inducting new employees, working on technical learning projects to improve our member experience, partnering the launch of new and exciting products, maintaining accurate content across the portfolio and seeking proactive opportunities to improve performance.

We are a resource led learning team and focus on ensuring our delegates have the tools they need to perform at their best.

In the role you would be responsible for each stage of our consultancy process and would be challenged to deliver positively different and effective approaches to learning and supporting performance. From analysing data and building a proposal to the design and delivery of content, finishing with an evaluation of the performance of our intervention.

Key Actions

       Learning Design & Delivery

  • Champion a “digital-first” mindset by leveraging tools such as Articulate and Camtasia to create innovative learning solutions
  • Design and deliver engaging learning experiences across multiple formats, including e-learning, support resources and digital adoption tools, virtual, and in-person sessions
  • Apply strong facilitation and instructional design skills to create impactful learning interventions
  • Lead the delivery of induction programmes for new starters, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning solutions using qualitative and quantitative methods, including learner feedback, performance metrics, and business outcomes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define success measures and ensure alignment with business objectives
         Consultation & Performance Support
  •  Partner with business leaders and project teams to identify learning and performance needs
  • Recommend effective learning and performance interventions based on business goals and learner needs
  • Data analysis to identify opportunities for performance improvement initiatives
  • Develop solutions aligned with our performance support methodology to drive measurable outcomes
     
     Project & Stakeholder Management
     
  • Oversee sign- off processes to ensure technical accuracy and quality assurance
  • Manage and deliver learning projects in line with our internal learning model and timelines
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders across the business
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, adapting style as needed, written and oral

    Operational Excellence

  • Maintain accurate and timely learning administration, including Learning Management System (LMS) tasks.
  • Uphold high standards of attention to detail and administrative accuracy
  • Support organisational change through learning intervention that enable transformation and adoption
  • Demonstrate strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads in line with business priorities

What do you need to thrive?

  • 12 months min contact centre experience
  •  Demonstrated experience in developing others through coaching, mentoring, or training
  • Confident and experienced in delivering sessions to large groups, both in-person and virtually
  • Awareness of, or hands-on experience with, digital adoption tools (e.g., Newired, WalkMe, Whatfix).
  • Understanding and application of artificial intelligence (AI) in learning and development
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint, with the ability to use them effectively for communication, collaboration, and content creation
