Team – Vitality Programme & Engagement Manager
Working Pattern - Hybrid – 2 days per week in the Vitality London Office. Full time, 37.5 hours per week.

What this role is all about:
The Marketing Manager leads the development and execution of strategies that drive engagement, loyalty, and retention across key audiences. This role shapes how these groups interact with our health insurance products and the Vitality programme, supporting healthier lifestyles.
Key team priorities include clinical engagement, workplace wellbeing, and champion-led advocacy. While the focus is on core audiences, projects may extend to the wider member base, requiring a broad understanding of Vitality members.
Success in this role requires collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving that aligns with business goals while enhancing Vitality’s brand leadership.
This position as a Maternity cover would work best for somebody who has great management skills and experience who can come in and hit the ground running!
Key Actions
- Develop and implement integrated engagement marketing strategies that improve engagement with Vitality and the Vitality programme.
- Create awareness of Vitality’s health insurance product benefits, targeting different audiences using available audience data.
- Align business objectives with market research to understand target audience behaviour and preferences to influence BAU projects and campaigns.
- Work and communicate with key stakeholders to deliver on BAU projects and marketing campaigns.
- Execute the engagement marketing strategy that contributes towards achieving business goals and objectives.
- Utilise available data from dashboards and the engagement funnel to make data-driven decisions that optimise performance across channels.
- Collaborate with the marketing Channels of Excellence (COEs) to lead on and implement marketing initiatives that align with business objectives.
- Stay updated with the latest marketing trends and emerging tools to keep the business at the forefront of our competitors.
- Ownership of assets and responsibility for creating and maintaining them in line with product and programme changes, while ensuring they’re compliant.
What do you need to thrive?
- Expertise in supporting or leading on “go to market” strategies/plans and campaign management
- Experience of running and leading high profile end-to-end marketing campaigns for multiple customer segments and preferences with minimal guidance
- Experience in development, implementation, and measurement of marketing plans and campaigns using relevant elements of the marketing mix
- Experience in working with, influencing and presenting to stakeholders of varying seniority levels
- Understanding of what creates a great customer experience and how to build one that inspires long-term customer relationships
- Experience in collaboration, strategic planning and presentation skills
