About The Role

Team – Finance

Working Pattern - Hybrid – 2 days per week in the Vitality Bournemouth Office. Full time, 35 hours per week.

What this role is all about:

This exciting new role will lead the accurate accounting and processing of Vitality Programme partners, ensuring compliance with financial standards and adherence to deadlines.

Key Actions

  • Ensure Accurate Accounting: Maintain precise accounting for multiple Vitality Partners within the Vitality P&L self-sufficiently.
  • Data Interpretation and Reconciliation: Interpret and reconcile data from Vitality Partners to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Identify and Resolve Data Quality Issues: Detect data quality issues and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop long-term solutions.
  • Process Payments: Manage the timely processing of cashbacks and invoices to customers and partners, ensuring adherence to deadlines.
  • Simplify and Document Tasks: Streamline and document all tasks to enhance efficiency and clarity.
  • Analyse Partner Performance: Conduct performance analysis of partners to identify trends and generate actionable insights.
  • Handle Ad Hoc Audit Requests: Address ad hoc requests from audits promptly and accurately

What do you need to thrive?

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
Qualifications: Fully qualified or finalist in CIMA/ACCA (or equivalent).
Strong accounting experience with knowledge of financial standards and compliance.
Skilled in interpreting, reconciling, and ensuring accuracy of financial data; able to resolve data quality issues.
Experience processing payments, invoices, and cashbacks under tight deadlines.
Proven ability to streamline tasks and document workflows effectively.
Capable of analysing financial data to generate actionable insights.
Experience managing audit requests and coordinating with audit teams.
Knowledge of tax obligations and financial compliance standards
