What this role is all about:

This is a unique opportunity for someone who prides themselves on their creativity but who has an eye for detail. As a Bid, Tender and Onboarding specialist that creativity will be key to crafting compelling, tailored responses to large corporate Private Medical Insurance bid and tender requests. You will immerse yourself in creating efficient processes to ensure we deliver timely winning tender responses. Once our large corporate clients are secured, you’ll facilitate the completion of legal and compliant documentation.    

Our team operates with the top tier professionalism you would expect yet is a close-knit family fostering a collaborative approach so you will quickly immerse yourself in our Corporate Proposition. Your role will be pivotal in gaining buy-in from all stakeholders and departments, ensuring our tender literature is always updated and bespoke as and when required.  Your natural ability to build relationships and navigate the complexities of legal and compliant documentation will be a key to our success as a team. The ideal person would have knowledge of Private Medical Insurance of a Corporate nature but it is not essential.          

Key Actions

  • Responsible for the creation of a Master Tender library
  • Responsible for all bid and tender response literature
  • Creation of effective working practices for the tender process
  • Seek feedback from successful and unsuccessful tenders and implement changes
  • Co-ordinates the information flow and delivery of our tender messaging – maintain consistency
  • Form effective relationships with key areas across the business to enable rapid response when required
  • Gain a strong understanding of our competitor’s strengths and weaknesses, and how they exploit ours
  • Create a compliance and legal response library
  • Complete or gather the information for compliance and legal response documents
  • Responsible for developing effective working methodology between key stakeholders and marketing teams in order to optimize the process and tender output

What do you need to thrive?

  • The ability to literalise complex information in an informative and compelling way
  • Strong communicator able to build effective relationships at all levels
  • Highly literate with the ability to produce professional documents
  • High level of attention to detail with good administration skills
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload
  • High energy, passionate about selling the Vitality proposition through our tender responses.
  • Knowledge of Private Medical Insurance, ideally corporate PMI but not essential
