What this role is all about:
This role is responsible for delivering and maintaining proficiency in the processes and systems that support Vitality Sales teams. The focus is on ensuring a strong understanding of product knowledge, processes, and system awareness to enable individuals to perform their roles effectively.
The L&D Consultant must have comprehensive knowledge of products, systems, and processes to serve as a subject matter expert in their area. This role involves ongoing engagement with teams to effectively deliver inductions and develop tailored learning and development plans for further upskilling. While most solutions will be face-to-face, digital and e-learning tools will also be leveraged where appropriate.
The role will be predominantly based in Stockport office, with a limited level of travel to London and Bournemouth (this would likely be around 4 x 1 week periods per year.)
Key Actions
- Serve as a subject matter expert by maintaining comprehensive knowledge of products, systems, and processes
- Engage regularly with sales teams to effectively lead inductions and identify development opportunities for existing team members
- Collaborate with various stakeholders across distribution teams to develop tailored learning and development plans for further upskilling
- Maintain an internal network to ensure distribution teams receive timely training on key system developments
- Contribute to project forums, providing expertise to shape future system and process improvements
- Occasionally support training needs in other VitalityHealth teams as required
- Manage and update L&D materials, including training manuals, process guides, slides, and other resources
- Participate in additional team activities as needed
What do you need to thrive?
- 1-2 years training experience in a financial services sales environment
- Experience of delivering high profile training programmes in a demanding environment
- Experience of working in a regulated environment
- Confident with delivering systems / process training, and coaching others in this
