As an Associate Front End Engineer, you will undertake training and develop skills on the job. In this role, you will spend a substantial portion of time shadowing others and working with other engineers to write code and tests. You will write code that follows web standards, build your understanding of accessibility, and continuously expand your knowledge.
Key Actions
- Write clean, accessible code that is easy to maintain and reuse, following web standards and a progressive enhancement approach.
- Design software that meets user needs and fosters meaningful interactions and relationships with users.
- Understand and implement the three fundamental front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as modern front-end frameworks such as React and Astro.
- Research alternative technologies to support user journeys and help define new processes.
- Spend a portion of time shadowing others.
- Work with other engineers to write code and tests.
- Write code that follows web standards.
- Build your understanding of accessibility.
- Develop software that meets user needs.
