Team – Prospect, Direct and Life Adviser - IT
Working Pattern - Hybrid – 2 days per week in any of the Vitality Offices. Full time hours.

What this role is all about:
This role is accountable for ensuring that our technology solutions are designed and implemented according to Enterprise Architecture Requirements, Business Requirements, and IT Development Standards.
As a Trailblazer, you will have a passion for Salesforce, and will be expected to keep on top of product enhancements announced by Salesforce via their Release Notes and announced at events.
This role would be ideal for people who hold, or who wish to progress towards, the Technical Architect certification, we will support your continued Salesforce growth.
Key Actions
- Working closely with Business Analysts and Business Architects, designing solutions that cross technical, product and application boundaries, ensuring that changes are designed, developed and delivered into service in compliance with policies and standards
- Owns, creates and maintains system-level Solution Design documentation and seeks relevant sign off from appropriate governance forums
- Maintains knowledge and awareness of the latest technology and practices, both external to the business, which may provide benefit, and those internally approved by relevant governance forums
- Is the SME for technology changes in order to provide estimates for new projects or product enhancements
- Drives the technical backlog with the Development team to assure technical debt is actively identified and removed, ensuring standards are maintained
- Is the point of contact for resolving any architectural/integration issues with the designated systems
- Contributes to Design standards and Patterns and forms part of the governing body of EADA
- Supports Projects and Product Enhancements throughout the development and delivery lifecycle
- Assists in Incident/Problem management, Root Cause Analysis and definition of solutions
- Works closely with the development team(s) – encouraging continuous improvement in the development, build, test and maintenance of the system
What do you need to thrive?
- Demonstrable experience working as a Solution Architect using a range of different technologies
- Specialism in Salesforce – demonstrable through prior experience and a range of salesforce certifications
- Clear expertise in the use of appropriate tools/technologies for the design, development, build, testing & deployment of a wide range of applications
- Demonstrable skills in the creation, maintenance and distribution of clear and effective design documentation, including experience in design notation (e.g. ArchiMate, C4, etc.)
- Evident experience with industry standard design frameworks (e.g. TOGAF)
- Assured communicator - able to present complex technical issues in a clear manner to technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience of Agile Methodology
- Multi-task and prioritise across several projects and initiatives.
- Work independently and collaborate effectively across the organization.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to take ownership of the task assigned
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
