Working Pattern - Hybrid – 2 days per week in the Vitality Bournemouth Office. Full time, 35 hours per week.

What this role is all about:
Vitality's Sourcing team are looking for a young, energetic and keen individual at the start of their career to help support their function on a short term basis. You will have the chance to learn about multiple different business processes within the world of Procurement, which is an ever growing sector of importance in the world of Business!
As part of the Sourcing team, you will support Vitality’s end to end sourcing activities, with a specific focus on transactional technology procurement. The role will be focused on effective workload management plus effective and timely communications with stakeholders.
Key Actions
- Take an active role in technology procurement, managing a group of engagements to follow our defined sourcing processes, to ensure suppliers are onboarded correctly, with suitable agreements in place
- Manage a defined group of low-level technology contract renewals, liaising with business stakeholders to understand the requirement and then agreeing the commercials and renewal documentation with the supplier
- Ensure that the correct paperwork is used for all processes and ensure that the information is accurate
- You are comfortable with communications, both written and face-to-face, and comfortable with chasing up decisions
- Engaging with suppliers. Some light-weight negotiations may be required
Essential Skills needed to fulfil this role:
- A highly organised individually, capable of effectively managing workload and prioritising demand to meet stakeholder expectations
- Confident in communicating to a wide range of internal and external staff, and building relationships
- Be adept at thinking logically and analytically, with the ability to effectively understand processes
- Possess a good attention to detail
- Possess a positive level of proficiency of desktop applications including Excel, Word and SharePoint
